A technology consultant by trade, I fell in love with email marketing after unexpectedly finding myself in a weeklong marketing automation workshop.
As a PR major at Syracuse University, social media was decidedly "my thing" – I was on our social media team for three years, and you could find me live tweeting and pinning with the best of them. Email as a medium always seemed so, well, 90's. But after my weeklong bootcamp of learning about drip campaigns and HTML tags, I was hooked. I started paying attention to the emails in my inbox, to how they much of the world they really did drive.
